시간 전치사 for, during

 

1. for

기간이나 시간의 길이를 나타낼 때 사용

어떤 일이 특정한 시간 동안 지속된다는 뜻

he studied very hard for a week

she will stay in London for two months

i've been reading the book for some hours

i turned off my cell phone for three hours.

he has taught us English or six months.

she was talking to her for over an hour

 

 

2. during

특정한 기간이나 이벤트 동안 발생하는 상황

어떤 일이 특정한 시간 동안에 일어나는지를 설명할 때 사용함

특정한 기간 동안에 어떤 일이 발생했는지 설명할 때 사용함

we talked about the exam during lunch

he went to the beach during the holiday

my mom cooked and cleaned during the day

he studied very hard during the week

my family doesn't talk a lot during meals
